UN Endorses Goldstone Report

IDF Soldiers Catch H1N1
David Shmueli 05/11/2009 23:20Approximately 160 IDF soldiers were sent home from an Air Force army base today, after doctors feared that they had either contracted the Mexican flu, or come in contact with people who were ill with the virus. The IDF Spokesman said that the decision to discharge the soldiers was made with the intent of preventing an outbreak of the virus.

David Shmueli 05/11/2009 22:30Palestinian Authority Chairman Abu Mazen (Mahmoud Abbas) announced at a press conference this evening that he will not run for re-election in the coming elections for the position of President of the Palestinian Authority. In his remarks he attacked the State of Israel and Hamas, saying that they are guilty for the situation that was created in which opening negotiations for peace is not possible.

German Mediator on the Way

According to the report, the road is paved to complete the deal, but the third phase would be the hardest, in which Hamas will demand that Netanyahu release the ‘heavy prisoners.’
