24/11/2009 12:45A group of bereaved parents from Haifa are planning to submit an urgent petition to the Israeli High Court of Justice today, demanding that the Prime Minister and Defense Minister be forced to publicize all the details of the prisoner exchange deal with the Hamas. The London based newspaper, "al-Hayat", reported this morning that the next two days are crucial to the Shalit deal.

Petition Against the Deal
Avi Moshe 24/11/2009 10:41Bereaved parents have called upon the Prime Minister to publicize all the details of the Shalit deal, including a list of all the terrorists slated to be released from prison, before the submit a petition to the High Court of Justice demanding a lift of censorship on the deal. A majority of the government ministers have said they will vote in favor of the prisoner exchange deal between the Hamas and Israel.

Shalit Deal Finalizing

Avi Moshe 23/11/2009 14:34The meeting has ended between the head of the Israeli negotiating team, Hagai Hadas, with the parents of Gilad Shalit. As he left the conference room, Noam Shalit refused to speak with reporters, claiming, "At the moment I can't say anything, and I have nothing to add." However, Shalit did say that he is not at ease. In Cairo, preparations are being made for more talks.

A Security Blunder

The campaign began today, with the bereaved parents calling the deal a serious "security blunder". The leaders of Hamas will meet today in Cairo to discuss the deal. Palestinians are already preparing to celebrate, as they anticipate an imminent release of their relatives.

70 Prisoners' Names Approved

The American "Fox" news station reported that additional significant progress has been made in the negotiations for the release of the captured soldier, Gilad Shalit. According to the report, Hamas sent with the German negotiator a new document listing the names of 70 security prisoners who meet the criteria set by Israel for the prisoner exchange deal.
