  • The Mission Continues

As in the past so it remains today - we were and still are under the selfsame commitment to adhere to the directions of the Gedolei Yisrael, who stand guard against breaches of purity threatening our camp. When we were required to ask – we asked. When we were instructed to depart – we left. The moment we are summoned back to raise the flag, every other consideration is pushed to the side and we answer: We are ready!

Judge Ruled In Favor Of Chareidi Mother from Meah Shearim

The prosecution claimed that the mother from Meah Shearim violated the terms of her detention. The judge: "The mother acted appropriately"

Reuven Stein 22/11/2009 20:18
The prosecution submitted a request to the court to confiscate the money left in deposit of the mother from Meah Shearim since her family violated the terms of her house arrest. Judge Moshe Ravid from the Jerusalem District Court rejected the prosecution's arguments and ruled that the family acted appropriately and did not violate her terms of detention.

The prosecution's arguments were that three of her children left the country without informing the authorities and that the mother refused to let officials from the welfare department be present during her children's check up at their doctor's office.
Another claim was that the children ceased to go for check ups at their doctor a short period before their departure.

The judge rejected all claims and ordered that until the mother, who has just given birth to a baby boy, returns home, her relatives are exempt from their legal obligation to supervise over her at her house.
