A Security Blunder
Eitan Fried 23/11/2009 11:15With the increase of reports that significant progress has been made toward sealing a prisoner exchange deal for the release of Gilad Shalit, a group of bereaved parents is threatening to petition the Israeli High Court of Justice in an effort to prevent the release of hundreds of terrorists "with blood on their hands". The campaign began today, with the bereaved parents calling the deal a serious "security blunder". The leaders of Hamas will meet today in Cairo to discuss the deal. Palestinians are already preparing to celebrate, as they anticipate an imminent release of their relatives.

70 Prisoners' Names Approved

The American "Fox" news station reported that additional significant progress has been made in the negotiations for the release of the captured soldier, Gilad Shalit. According to the report, Hamas sent with the German negotiator a new document listing the names of 70 security prisoners who meet the criteria set by Israel for the prisoner exchange deal.
