The Satmar Rebbe shlita Will Spend Shabbos in Boro Park
The Satmar Rebbe arrived in Boro Park earlier than expected due to the levayah of the Uhil Rebbetzin. He is expected to stay until after Shabbos
The Satmar community in Boro Park was thrilled to hear that their Rebbe will be spending Shabbos in the city.
The Satmar Rebbe was supposed to arrive only today in order to participate in the wedding of a son of Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Meisles shlita, the son of the avad of the Satmar community in Boro Park, who is a grandchild of the Barech Moshe of Satmar.
However, due to the unexpected passing of the Uhil Rebbetzin, the Satmar Rebbe decided to come earlier than planned so that he could participate in the levayah.
Immediately after the levayah, the Rebbe entered the Satmar Beis Medrash on 53rd Street where a bris of one of the Chassidim was being held.
After attending the bris, the Rebbe paid a visit to his brother-in-law Rabbi Yisrael Hager shlita, who is currently in America to participate in the chasunah of Rabbi Meisles.
The Rebbe then visited the 'Divrei Yoel' Kollel D'Chasidei Satmar in Boro Park, where over one hundred avreichim learn diligently.
The Rebbe spoke with the avreichim and helped them solve a difficult sugiya before leaving.
