  • The Mission Continues

As in the past so it remains today - we were and still are under the selfsame commitment to adhere to the directions of the Gedolei Yisrael, who stand guard against breaches of purity threatening our camp. When we were required to ask – we asked. When we were instructed to depart – we left. The moment we are summoned back to raise the flag, every other consideration is pushed to the side and we answer: We are ready!

A terrorist stabbed a young woman last night at a bus station in the Gush Etzion intersection. According to initial reports, the terrorist stabbed the woman several times in her back. The victim, a 22-year-old resident of Karnei Shomron, was evacuated to the Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem in moderate condition.

After stabbing the woman, the terrorist succeeded in escaping from the crime scene by foot. Police searched the entire area but could not find the terrorist. Another person who was standing at the bus station during the time of the incident was unharmed.

An additional stabbing attack was foiled last Wednesday in the settlement of Revava in Samaria. A terrorist, possibly a youngster from one of the nearby Arab villages, entered the settlement armed with a commando knife. Upon entering the settlement, he took out his knife and attempted to stab several residents. Two locals noticed the terrorist and fought him until he dropped his knife. Security forces were called into the settlement and arrested the terrorist.

A mere few hours thereafter, police apprehended a 20-year-old terrorist at the Kalandia checkpoint in northern Jerusalem after discovering that he was carrying several explosive devices. During his interrogation, the terrorist confessed that he had been planning to carry out a terrorist attack in Jerusalem. The young terrorist was arrested and the explosives were seized by the IDF, who detonated them.
