  • The Mission Continues

As in the past so it remains today - we were and still are under the selfsame commitment to adhere to the directions of the Gedolei Yisrael, who stand guard against breaches of purity threatening our camp. When we were required to ask – we asked. When we were instructed to depart – we left. The moment we are summoned back to raise the flag, every other consideration is pushed to the side and we answer: We are ready!

The Admor of Bobov Promised Twelve Years Ago and the Blessing is Coming True

Remarkable: Twelve years ago the Admor of Baboz ztz’l gave a brachah to a boy of seven, "I will attend your wedding.” Now it is materializing.

Yosef Feffer, New York 10/12/2009 19:07
Bobov Chassisim who participated yesterday (Wednesday) in the Simchas Erusin of the daughter of the rav of the kehillah, Harav Hatzaddik Rabbi Yehoshua Rubin shlita, Av Beis Din of Bobov, were amazed to hear an astounding story about the Admor Rebbe Shlomo of Bobov ztz’l who saw with spiritual vision that the current match would occur twelve years ago.

The chasan is the son of Harav Rabbi Yosef Erenstar shlita, rav of the Alexander Kehillah in the U.S., son of Harav Hatzaddik Rabbi Yisrael Erenstar shlita, the son of Harav Hatzaddik Rabbi Moshe shlita, Gavad "Maor Chaim" and the son-in-law of the Admor Baal HaImrei Chaim of Vizhnitz ztzvk"l.

The Simcha was attended by important rabbis, grandparents, uncles, and in-laws; and at the head of the table sat the brother-in-law of the kallah’s father the Admor of Bobov shlita.

At the end of the Simcha the chassidim were surprised to hear an interesting fact, which moved all the participants very much. During the drashah of the chassan’s father, Harav Yosef Erenstar shlita, he said that the grandfather ztz’l, Rebbe Shlomo of Bobov, predicted that this match will come into effect twelve years ago.

This is what happened: In 5758 (1998) when Harav Hatzaddik Rabbi Yosef Unger shlita, a son of the Admor of Bobov shlita, made a simcha of 'Vachnacht' for his son, the grandfather, Rebbe Shlomo of Bobov came. The mechutan Harav Yosef Erenstar and his son the chasan, then age seven, also came to participate in the simcha, as they were brother-in-laws (both are chasanim by Harav Hagaon Rabbi Shemai Lau shlita).

After the simcha the participants came to be blessed by the grandfather, Rebbe Shlomo of Bobov ztz’l, who blessed everyone in his holy way with an illuminated countenance. But when it was the turn of the child, who later became the chasan present at this Erusin, the Rebbe blessed him and said to him: "ביי דיין חתונה וועל איך זיין [At your wedding I will attend].” Now it turns out that Ruach Hakodesh appeared in his Beis Midrash, and already then he felt that here, standing before him, was the child who will be his great-grandchild in another twelve years.

As noted, the chasan's father told the story and he was a witness to it, which provoked great excitement among those present who are familiar with the spiritual matter that fathers descend from Gan Eden to participate in the simcha of their descendants. The grandfather felt twelve years ago that he would come down from Gan Eden to participate in the simcha of his descendents.
