  • The Mission Continues

As in the past so it remains today - we were and still are under the selfsame commitment to adhere to the directions of the Gedolei Yisrael, who stand guard against breaches of purity threatening our camp. When we were required to ask – we asked. When we were instructed to depart – we left. The moment we are summoned back to raise the flag, every other consideration is pushed to the side and we answer: We are ready!

Hilula of the Maggid of Mezritch in the Sadigora Rebbe’s Court

The Sadigora Rebbe blessed Birchat Hamazon on the cup of the Great Maggid of Mezritch zy’a.

Yochanan Weisberg 06/12/2009 22:38

In Chassidic courts today (Sunday) was noted as the Hilula of the holy rav, the Great Maggid of Mezritch zy’a. In the Courts of Rozhin they make a special Tisch in honor of the Hilula, and in Chabad they convened a Hisvaadus in which they studied the teachings of the Admorim of Chabad about the day, and wish one another a “Shanah Tova Chassidit.”

In the court of the Admor of Sadigora shlita, in the Beis Midrash HaGadol in Shichun Heh, a Melavah Malka took place last night headed by the Rebbe shlita.

They sang the niggunim of Rozhin and the nigunim of the Baal HaHilula. The pinnacle was when the Rebbe shlita blessed Birchat Hamazon on the cup used by the Maggid of Mezritch zy’a, the Baal HaHilula.
