  • The Mission Continues

As in the past so it remains today - we were and still are under the selfsame commitment to adhere to the directions of the Gedolei Yisrael, who stand guard against breaches of purity threatening our camp. Rabbi of IDF Air Force Attends a Shiur on 'Ohr Hachaim'

Rabbi Moshe Ra'avad of the IDF Air Force participated in a weekly shiur on the 'Ohr Hachim' in Beit Shemesh

Yochanan Weisberg 06/12/2009 18:52

Just like every week, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Pomerantz shlita, Chairman of 'Oz V'Hadar', held a shiur on the 'Ohr Hachaim' in Beit Shemesh this week.

The 'Oz V'Hadar' organization has recently published a Chumash with the peirush of the Ohr Hachaim and the Me'or Ohr, on which Rabbi Pomerantz bases his weekly lecture.

The weekly shiur, held every Friday in Beit Shemesh, has become extremely popular within the local community, and even yidden from outside the city arrive to participate in the interesting lecture.

This week, a special guest attended the shiur; Rabbi Moshe Ra'avad of the IDF Air Force, who proceeded to deliver a devar Torah of his own upon the completion of the lecture. Rabbi Ra'avad received a copy of the new chumash as a token of appreciation and gratitude for his presence.
