  • The Mission Continues

As in the past so it remains today - we were and still are under the selfsame commitment to adhere to the directions of the Gedolei Yisrael, who stand guard against breaches of purity threatening our camp. When we were required to ask – we asked. When we were instructed to depart – we left. Kosher Food for New Israel Flyer

EasyJet will offer kosher meals on the flights between London and Tel Aviv at the standard flight meal price.

D. Rosell- Jewish Tribune 23/10/2009 09:31
EasyJet’s low priced flights to Israel due to launch next month will offer Hermolis food for Jewish passengers. Airline spokesman Andrew McConnell said that EasyJet is looking forward to bringing a unique blend of low fares and “the appreciation that people travelling to Tel Aviv may want to have the choice of different types of food. We want to make sure there's something for everyone on our flights, regardless of their dietary requirements."

The Hermolis meal will not cost more than EasyJet’s standard menu on its other flights, with sandwiches from £3.50. The menu will include egg mayonnaise with tomato and cress bloomer, smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel, mozzarella & tomato panini and muffin or chocolate orange mini cake.

With fares to Israel at £102.98 return including tax, EasyJet should be looking at an influx of passengers on its Luton- Tel Aviv flights six days a week with timings close to those of El Al. Mr McConnell assured the Jewish Tribune that prices on EasyJet flights will not soar immediately before the Yomim Tovim.
