  • The Mission Continues

As in the past so it remains today - we were and still are under the selfsame commitment to adhere to the directions of the Gedolei Yisrael, who stand guard against breaches of purity threatening our camp. When we were required to ask – we asked. When we were instructed to depart – we left. The moment we are summoned back to raise the flag, every other consideration is pushed to the side and we answer: We are ready!

Maran HaGaon Rabbi Michel Yehudah Lefkowitz shlit’a delivered a shiur in Vizhnitz

A shiur of chizuk was delivered by Maran HaGaon Rabbi Michel Yehudah Lefkowitz shlit’a in the Beis Midrash of Vizhnitz.

Yochanan Weisberg 22/10/2009 17:20
Yesterday, many students assembled in the Heichal of the Beis Midrash HaGadol of Chassidei Vizhnitz in Bnei Brak to listen to a special shiur delivered by Maran HaGaon Rabbi Michel Yehudah Lefkowitz shlit’a. He spoke about the importance of guarding one’s speech and the obligation to learn and review the halachos of Loshon Hora, which compromise the foundation of the ways of life for a yirei Shamayim.

The special shiur was intended to strengthen the holy Takanah instituted in 5763 (2003) by HaRav HaTzaddik Rabbi Yisrael Hagar shlit’a to study and review the halachos of Loshon Hora from the holy sefer of the Chofetz Chaim zy’a, and to strengthen this important matter of guarding one’s speech as a merit for the complete recovery of Maran the Admor of Vizhnitz shlit’a.

The shiur of Maran HaGaon Rabbi Michel Yehudah Lefkowitz shlit’a elicited a wave of excitement among the many participants, who had the opportunity to realize the great importance of reviewing the halachos of Loshon Hora, which are the foundation to insure unity and peace among the people of Hashem.
