Admor of Belz Hosts Traditional "Kviyas Shiur" Event
At the conclusion of the "Kviyas Shiur", a special gathering was held by the tzaddik Rabbi Aharon Mordechai Rokach, shlita, for visiting bochurim from outside of Israel.
Thousands of Belzer yeshiva and kollel students convened in the large prayer sanctuary in Kiryat Belz, Jerusalem, for the traditional event of "Kviyas Shiur".
After the Aravit service, the Admor gave the opening speech of the evening. He spoke at length about the great virtue of Torah study, as it protects the individual against all the pitfalls of our times. The Admor, shlita, then commenced learning from Maseches Baba Kama – the tractate that is studied in all the Belz yeshivas.
The Admor, shlita, blessed "l'Chaim", and blessed the students to elevate themselves with the Torah and glorify the ntion of Israel, by following the path marked out for them by the holy rabbis of Belz.
After the "Kviyas Shuir" event ended, a special gathering was arranged for the Belz bochurim visiting from the United States, who have come to study in the yeshivos gedolos in Eretz Yisrael. The gaon and tzaddik Rabbi Aharon Rokach, shlita, spoke to the bochurim during the gathering, emphasizing the importance of working hard to make scholarly and spiritual progress during one's youth.
