  • The Mission Continues

As in the past so it remains today - we were and still are under the selfsame commitment to adhere to the directions of the Gedolei Yisrael, who stand guard against breaches of purity threatening our camp. Admor of Skulen, shlita, Visits his Father's Kever

A heart wrenching sight at the tzion of the holy Rebbe of Skulen in Monsey – the son visited of the kever of the father whose place he filled.

Yochanan Wiesberg 25/08/2009 18:29

Last week the Admor of Skulen, shlita, accompanied by a large crowd, made a trip to visit the gravesite of his father at the beis chaim in Monsey. Chapters of Tehillim were recited, as is the custom. Afterwards, the congregation recited "Kel Maleh Rachamim", and the Admor of Skulen recited the Kadish Yatom.

For over an hour, the Admor of Skulen, shlita, read kvitlach penned by his followers at the tzion of his father, and when he finished, he rested his head on the headstone and wept, praying for the salvation of for the entire nation – and for every individual – of Am Yisrael.

Before leaving the cemetery, the Admor of Skulen approached the gravesite of the Admor of Ribnitz, ztz"l, and also recited Tehillim, and prostrated himself on the kever.
