MK Ophir Pines-Paz called today (Wednesday) on President Shimon Peres "to save the honor of Israel" and attend the climate conference in Copenhagen. MK Pines-Paz said that "at the conference will be about 100 heads of state from around the world. It's a shame that Israel will not be represented there. President Peres has shown an interest and knowledge in environmental issues throughout his tenure, so he could represent Israel best.”
