Yesha Council: "Our Struggle Against the Freeze Must Proceed Without Violence on Our Part"

The Chairman of the Yesha Regional Council, Danny Danon, called for an end to violence in the demonstrations against the building freeze, and says he has nothing to do with the violent acts that many Right-wing activists have initiated recently.
"Our struggle against the freeze must be conducted without any violence on our part, as was the case until now in all the settlements. Slashing tires of cars belonging to innocent citizens, and committing other such incidents that occurred in Jerusalem, is both foolish and wrong. Those types of acts are completely unacceptable, and are ultimately damaging to our struggle. Anyone who participates in such acts has no interest in the success of the struggle," said Danon.
