3 Dead in Severe Winter Weather in US
The Midwest and California were hit with cold temperatures, strong winds, and snow on Monday, and the stormy winter weather is expected to last through Wednesday. In California, 2 people were killed in weather related car accidents, and a 3rd person died in Indiana after being hit by a car on a snowy road.
CNN reported this afternoon, "Wind chills of 30 to 40 degrees below zero are forecast for the Midwest and the northern Plains, and afternoon temperatures may be in the single digits through Wednesday."
