Iran's security forces fired in the air in the center of the capital Tehran to disperse a protest demonstration against the government, reported a website affiliated with the reformist opposition. The site reported that "security forces fired in the air to disperse demonstrators in the Ainkilab square, and clashes between the police and demonstrators are still breaking out.” Earlier, confrontations were reported between students and security forces in several locations in Iran, against the backdrop of “Student Day” in the country today.
