In the wake of the decision to freeze all new construction in the territories, the Chairman of the Finance Committee, Knesset Member Rabbi Moshe Gafni, said that in a week, the committee will conduct a meeting to discuss the economic ramifications of the freeze.
According to Gafni, the goal of the meeting is to find way of easing the financial difficulties of people who have already planned to build homes, and may have problems paying off loans if they cannot build and move into those homes.
