Chairman of the Committee for the Problem of Foreign Workers, Knesset Member Yaakov Katz, has demanded that the government ministries honor the decisions made by the government, and to allow Israeli agriculture to continue to flourish in Israel and worldwide. The farmers are experiencing a crisis at present, over their inability to hire more foreign workers to help with the harvest of their produce.
During the committee meeting today, Knesset Member Katz said that the Minister of Agriculture, as the representative of the farming community, is personally responsible for finding solutions to agricultural problems.
