Trial in Libya a Form of Revenge?
David Shmueli 02/12/2009 08:06
A Libyan court sentenced 2 Swiss businessmen to 16 months in prison for tax evasion and overstaying their visas. Media sites have suggested that the act was a subtle form of revenge for the July 2008 arrest of Hannibal, the son of Libya's leader Kadhafi, for mistreating hotel staff in Geneva.
The 2 businessmen have been released on bail and will appeal the sentences.
