Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Dr. Shlomo Wald, said that in the future there will be no choice but to combine nuclear energy in the Israeli energy sector. "By 2050 at the latest, Israel is expected to exhaust all its potential for renewable energy and it’s likely that this will happen earlier. In the long term we do not have other sources of energy to rely on and therefore Israel must soon think about combining nuclear reactors in the energy sector," said Wald.
