International Pressure on Israel to Stop Building in Gilo

The Gilo expansion was approved not for long and already there’s international pressure on Israel to stop the planned building in Gilo. America, Russia and the EU demand that Israel stop the construction in Gilo. "It’s contrary to international law, and will bring Palestinian resentment and to a very dangerous situation." Mayor Nir Barkat is determined to continue the building momentum: "I will not stop construction,” he said.
