New York: Police Search Offices of 4 Major Newspapers

Yesterday, New York policemen with search warrants conducted searches of the some of the offices of The New York Times, The New York Daily News, The New York Post, El Diario, and a local labor union.
Deputy Police Commissioner Paul J. Browne confirmed the searches to CNN reporters, but neither he nor other city officials would provide any details about the investigation or discuss Tuesday's actions.
