Netanyahu has Decided: The Position of Attorney General Will Not be Split in Two

The idea to split the post has been rejected: Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu decided this afternoon that the next Attorney General, who is to be chosen in the near future, will have the same measure of authority that the current Attorney General now holds. The idea to divide the responsibilities of the Attorney General between two candidates – suggested by Minster of Justice Yaakov Ne'eman – was rejected.
