Report: Netanyahu Sent a Message to Syria that he is Prepared to Withdraw from Golan

The al-Arabiya news site reported that French President Nicolas Sarkozy sent a message to the Syrian President Bashar Assad, that Israel was prepared to withdraw from the Golan Heights as part of a peace agreement.
The Prime Minister's office has firmly denied that report. The office said in a statement, "The Al-Arabiya report has nothing to do with reality. Nothing of this kind ever happened."
