Baruch Dayan HaEmet: Rabbi David Kviat, ztz"l

Rabbi David Kviat, Rabbi of the Agudas Yisrael congregation at 18th Avenue in Boro Park, and teacher at the Mirrer Yeshiva in Brooklyn, was niftar during the night (New York time) at the Maimonides Medical Center in Boro Park, after an illness.
Rabbi Kviat, ztz"l, was a great talmid chachom who authored over 40 books, including the famous "Sukkat David" series on the Shas.
Matzav.com reported that the levaya is currently scheduled to take place at 1 p.m. at the Agudas Yisrael of 18th Avenue, located at 5413 18th Avenue in Boro Park, and at 3 p.m. at the Mirrer Yeshiva, located at the corner of Avenue R and Ocean Parkway in Flatbush, Brooklyn. The niftar will then be flown to Eretz Yisraell.
