Leiberman: Abu Mazen Sabotaged Deal to Release Gilad Shalit

Foreign Minister Avigdor Leiberman said this evening, while visiting Denmark, that the President of the Palestinian Authority, Abu Mazen, has repeatedly sabotaged over the last few years the deal to release the captured soldier Gilad Shalit. At a press conference in Copenhagen, Leiberman added that Abu Mazen was strongly against Israel releasing 450 Hamas prisoners, claiming it would lead to an increase in violence against Fatah activists in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
