At 6:00 this evening, dozens of secular residents of Beit Shemesh stormed the entrance to the building housing the city's municipal offices, in an effort to gain entrance to a City Council meeting taking place at that time.
Beit Shemesh security guards distanced the residents from the area surrounding the building, as representatives of the opposition party repeatedly demanded to be allowed to attend the crowded meeting. The Mayor, Rabbi Moshe Abutbul, denied their request.
