An Egged driver, who drove bus #277 from Jerusalem to Elad, was fined 2000 shekels after a passenger complained that he asked the driver to turn down the radio, and the driver refused. The passenger will receive 400 shekels in damages.
Egged was also required to pay a fine of 15,000 shekels, in connection with the same complaint, after an appeal submitted to the Israeli Supreme Court by Egged and the driver – Yosef Davidov - was rejected.
