Hebrew University Ranks 64 in the Shanghai Review

The Hebrew University in Jerusalem ranked 64 out of 100 of the top Universities in the World, as determined by China's Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Jiao Tong bases it selections of top universities on the number of scientific publications, the number or Nobel Prize Laureates, the number of scientists quoted in 21 different disciplines, and the rate of academic achievement in relation to the University's size.
Hebrew University is the only Israeli university to be included in the prestigious list. At the top of the list are Harvard University, Stanford University, and the University of California at Berkley – all in the United States.
