United Kingdom Postal Strike: 100,000 Workers At Home

A postal strike that began in the United Kingdom on Thursday has caused a delay in the delivery of 35 million pieces of mail. While the British Royal Mail hired thousands of temporary workers ahead of the strike to help deal with the backlog. The strike was motivated by an announcement made by Royal Mail that machines may soon be replacing human employees for many mail related tasks.
