Professor Gabriella Shalev, the Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations, filed a complaint with the UN Secretary-General, Ban Kimoon, after a Katyusha rocket was fired at Israel on Tuesday evening. Shalev wrote that there has been an increase of hostile activity directed against Israel from within Lebanon.
"In recent months there has been a substantial and alarming rise in hostile activity from Lebanese territory," she wrote, adding that, "Israel has been warning over the last three years of Hezbollah's establishment of a renewed military infrastructure."
