Yishai: The Palestinians Are Not Capable of Making Peace

Minister of the Interior, Rabbi Eli Yishai, said this evening at the President's Conference in Jerusalem, "Everyone agrees that Israel has made great concessions for the sake of peace. Even the right wing governments have made made concessions. The problem is not with the Israeli government now, but with the other side. They do not seem to be at all capable of making daring decisions. Olmert made an effort, but no agreements were signed. Unfortunately, I do not see anyone in the Palestinian Authority who can say that we are going to sign an agreement. They can't even bring themselves to acknowledge the existence of the Jewish state. We have to stop blaming ourselves."
