A Sudanese national tried to hijack and Egypt Air plane last night, using a knife from his supper tray. The plane was on its way from Istanbul to Cairo, when the man demanded the pilot land the plane in Jerusalem.
Security officials on the plane were able to subdue the 26 year old Sudanese man, who had been traveling on a forged passport. Nobody was injured in the incident, and the plane landed safely in Cairo.
