Coalition Leader: The Prime Minister's Speech Restored Israel's National Pride

The Chairman of the Coalition, Ze'ev Elkin, expressed his support for the Prime Minister after the powerful speech Netanyahu gave during the U.N. General Assembly in New York today. Elkin praised Netanyahu, saying he had taken Israel back to the days when the country knew how to "stand up for itself", and had restored a sense of national pride to the country. "The Prime Minister's speech has taken Israel back to the days of Ben Gurion and Begin, who knew hot to stand up to the world, and defend the historical right of Israel to exist in the Land of Isreal. The Prime Minister has restored a sense of national pride to the State of Israel with his forceful words."
