World's Largest Flag to be Unfurled in Jerusalem Today
Arutz 7 reported today that at Jerusalem's Teddy Stadium today, the largest flag in the world – the Jerusalem flag - will be unfurled, in a ceremony that began at 9:00 this morning. A emblem of a lion appears on the 9.5 ton, 44,404 square meter flag, which was unfurled for the first time in the Philippines on April 11 this year. A helicopter will raise the flag above the stadium.
Hundreds of Jerusalem schoolchildren are attending the exciting event. The flag was paid for by Grace Galindez Gupana, a 48 year old Filipino businesswoman. The cost: $120,000.
