Sheba Hospital: Peres in Good Condition
The Sheba hospital at Tel Hashomer announced this morning that the President of Israel, Shimon Peres, had a quiet night and that he is in good physical condition. This morning, doctors are planning to conduct additional tests to determine whether the President can be released from the hospital today.
The President's spokeswoman, Ayelet Frish, reported that the President felt unwell and collapsed during an event at the Rabin Center in Tel Aviv Motzei Shabbos. "The President slept well last night, and all the tests administered thus far indicate that he is in perfect health." The spokeswoman believes that Peres will leave the hospital this morning.
