Department of Education: Most of the Municipalities will Open Schools

The Department of Education announced Motzei Shabbos that classes in most of the educational institutions in the country will be held as usual, despite the efforts of several municipalities to disrupt school openings.
However, the Union of Local Authorities expects the education system to be affected by the strike in 240 municipalitis. As of Friday, 11 cities announced that they would not participate in the strike: Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Herzliya, Petah Tikva, Rishon Lezion, Rehovot, Ra'anana, Netanya, Ramle and Hod Hasharon.
