Memorial Ceremonies to Commerate the 9/11 Terror Attacks
Friday morning at 8:46 A.M., a moment or silence will be observed on the South Lawn at the White House – at the exact time Flight 11 hit the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York City, in 2001. During the attack, 2751 people were killed, when two planes crashed into the north and south towers of the World Trade Center.
Additional memorial ceremonies will be held at the Pentagon, in Shanskville – where United Airlines Flight 93 crashed in a field, and in numerous other locations throughout the United States.
