Russia Insists Hijacked Cargo Ship was not Carrying Weapons to Middle East
After a Russian cargo ship was hijacked this summer, and only located nearly three weeks later, Israeli and British media sites published the theory that the ship had been transporting missiles to Syria or Iran.
Despite the lack of clear information about the way the ship was hijacked by a group of masked men, and then retaken by Russian authorities, the Russian government continues to claim that the ship was only carrying lumber.
