Three men were convicted today of plotting to blow up airplanes over the Atlantic Ocean with liquid explosives.
A London jury found Abdulla Ahmed Ali, 28, Assad Sarwar, 29, and Tanvir Hussain, 28, guilty of conspiracy to murder thousands of airplane passengers by detonating bombs while the planes were airborne.
The three men were arrested in 2006 after one of the longest terror related investigation in British history.
