Closed San-Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge May Not Open Tuesday as Scheduled

The San-Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge was closed for repairs on Thursday and expected to reopen on Tuesday, but then a significant crack was discovered in one of the bridge's eyebars on the side of the structure. Crews are now working on repairing on the crack.
"Right now, we don't have an estimate on how long it's going to take," Bart Ney, spokesman for the California Department of Transportation, or Caltrans, told reporters. "And we can't say for sure the Bay Bridge will be able to open on Tuesday morning." (CNN)
