London Mayor Urges Non-Muslims to Fast Once During Ramadan

London Mayor Boris Johnson, speaking at the East London Mosque and the London Muslim Center, praised the 1.6 million Muslim residents of London for making an effort to integrate into mainstream society. As for the non-Muslims Londoners, he said, "I urge people, particularly during Ramadan, to find out more about Islam, increase your understanding and learning, even fast for a day with your Muslim neighbour and break your fast at a local mosque.” (Matzav.com)
