Shay Dromi, the farmer who was charged in the shooting death of a Beduin thief who trespassed on his farm, signed a plea bargain this morning. Dromi will be sentenced to six months of public service, but he will actually do only 5 months of service, as he was held in prison for one month after the incident.
Dromi has been convicted of possessing a gun without a license, but was found innocent of manslaughter.
