90 Civilians Killed in Afghanistan when NATO Bombs Stolen Fuel Tankers

Taliban forces hijacked two fuel tankers and took them to a remote village, offering anyone who wanted fuel to take some for free. While a crowd of villagers was gathered around the tankers, NATO carried out an airstrike, bombing both trucks. At least 50 people were seriously wounded, and that as many as 90 civilians were killed in the bombing.
The governor of Kunduz, Mohammed Omar, said that a senior Taliban commander was among the many Taliban fighters who were also killed in the attack. (Al Jazeera)
