Spread of Mexican Flu Intensifying in Israel
According to a Health Ministry report released on Wednesday, the number of people diagnosed with the Mexican flu in Israel has risen by 3.6% in the last two weeks. The symptoms of the Mexican flu include: a runny nose, headache, coughing, muscle pain and shortness of breath. Other symptoms include sore throat, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
At present, only patients at high risk for experiencing flu complications, patients with acute respiratory conditions, and people living near a site where a definite flu outbreak has been reported, are being tested in Israel for the Mexican flu. (Ha'aretz)
