Breaking News: Two Month Old Infant Left in Car in Center of Jerusalem

Pedestrians near the Mercaz Clal building in Jerusalem noticed an infant in a locked car at 2:00 this afternoon. Police were summoned to the scene, and a passerby broke one of the rear windows to get the infant our of the hot car. The 2 month old baby girl was red, but didn't not yet seem to be in distress. "Ichud Hatzolah" paramedics who arrived on the scene examined the infant and wet her mouth with water. She was in good condition, baruch Hashem.
Twenty minutes later, the infant's father arrived. He initially told police and a crowd of angry bystanders that he had forgotten that the baby was in the car. The man was taken to the police station for additional questioning.
