Through the combined efforts of the Israeli Communications Ministry, the Civilian Administration, and the Palestinian Authority, broadcasts were discontinued this morning from a pirate radio station based in Ramallah. The station's broadcasts disrupted airport communications with aircraft flying in and out of Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.
The Communications Minister received complaints about airport communication interference on airplanes, caused by the illegal radio station in Ramallah.
