In response to sharp criticism from the Left over comments made by Knesset ministers during a visit to settlements on Monday, a statement was released from the Prime Minister's office last night saying that the Yesha settlement issue is being dealt with by the Ministry of Defense. The statement also said that the government's policies are based on consideration of all relevant factors, including the necessity of upholding the law throughout Israel.
