Jewish Teen on Trial in Iran
Among another 25 detainees on trial in Iran for participating in anti-government protests is Jewish teenager, who has been charged with throwing stones at a bank branch in Teheran on June 14. The 19 year old youth, Yaghoghil Shaolian, claims that he was not part of the protest, but simply fooling around.
There are 25,000 Jews living in Iran, and the last time a Jew was put on trial was in the year 2000, when 13 Jews were accused of spying for Israel. (CNN)
